Buying a European caravan

Hi all, we like the look of the Knaus Lifestyle caravan which is German made.

The door is located on the opposite side to UK brands so is this a problem when it comes to setting up on a UK site?

Im sure when Europeans come to this country they cope ok?

Would like your views on the above please.

Also with the strength of the Euro is there anything stopping me from driving to Germany and buying a caravan there and towing it home?

As I pay all local taxes/vat would anything be due once back in UK?
