Caravan Wallpaper Problem.

We have recently purchased a new caravan where vertical strips of wallpaper are used to cover joins in the main wallpaper. These strips are all coming unstuck at the edges. Is this a common problem? If so, why are manufacturers still using the method. I have lost confidence in the quality of the van.
