We regularly holiday in France, and like to keep up with news items and a few selected channels.   Looking to update our dish, enquiring with Maxview I am informed that the new Astra2 satellite has been deliberately zoned to tighten its footprint, meaning
that a dish of at least 90cms diameter is required tin order to receive Astra2 signals from mid-France and further south.  This move, I am told, is because technology now allows the signal beam to be tightened and restrict overspill to continental
europe.  Sounds to me like another Jobsworth, spiteful act towards UK tourists. WHY?
