Do Signal Boosters Really Work?

Hi there

I have a status aerial and booster in the caravan and wondered if anyone has had any success with any plug in / additional signal boosting kit?

Occasionally i get a picture but its not quite 'right' and feel with a bit of a boost it would be perfect.

Recgonise nothings going to produce something from nothing but wondered if anyone had picked up any good aerials / boosters for those occasions as a 'back up'?

I think my kit is a Status 315

any tips / kit advice very welcome

p.s. where i struggle i reach for my freesat dish but that can cause my better half to lose the will to live....
