Satellite tv and problems

Hi all

We have a satelite tv system, Oyster dish, Bush receiver, Thompson dvd/radio player, JVC tv

system works fine, but when blanked by trees, no line of site for signal, no tv. the site we are on has tv hook-up, but if I pull the satellite lead from the tv and connect to site system still no tv. disconnect all scarts, still no tv, run auto tune, still
no tv. HELP!!
