Pitch cost and the Club

Would somebody pleas explain to me why our Club has gone the same way as all other providers and increased pitch and associated costs for popular times of the year (e.g., Christmas and summer). What is the justification for an extra £8-£9 per night between
20 December and 4th January? Are more facilities available?
