Mould In Caravan

Wondering if anyone can help me. We have a 2007 Bailey Pageant caravan which is in storage (outside in a compound). We went up to see it at the weekend and discovered that the van is covered in mould. All the top cupboards are mouldy inside and there is
mould on all the seat cushions. All the vents have been left open over winter, the seat cushions were lifted and the cupboards were all left open. The caravan was thoroughly cleaned before we winterised the van. Feeling a little demoralised as we had this
problem last year but it is a lot worse this time. This year we tried to do everything 'by the book' and it's happened again. Another thing to add is that the caravan was serviced last spring and the damp check was clear. This is our first caravan so my questions
are;

Is this normal? Is there a problem with the van? Is it safe to clean the van and keep using it? I have small children and I feel rather concerned about the mould.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
