I have an Elddis Affinity caravan fitted with a Teleco teleplus x 2 aerial I was thinking about removing same for winter storage. Tried to source a bung for the hole were the mast comes thro the roof. No joy aerial manufacturer says it is not usual to remove this aerial. Any comments please.

Never known anybody remove these type of aerials. I certainly would not.

Seems a lot of effort for very little gain.

Seriously though, if anyone has one of these they are discarding I have a project in mind . . . .

I have not heard of any one doing this and do not think there is any point. Everytime you move it in or out you risk a leak. It is far better where it is unless you need to remove it for some reason.

I would just leave it not worth the hassle to remove it.Laughing
