Well I have seen the Wacky Races thread and I think it was talking about this site, we have never in over 35years of vanning seen anything like it, every morning as one van left a pitch another reversed on, the pitches were not empty for 5 minutes. 2 mornings I was woke up but argueing where 2 couples wanted the same pitch. On the Friday afternoon before we departed on Saturday I was taking my awning down when this guy who had his motorhome next to our pitch came by and with no hello kiss my bum or anything just said you going to which I replied yes, and by the time I had got from under my awning he was sat on a chair at the back of our pitch. He didn't want to talk but just sat there reading a paper, so I loaded the awning into the car and when I started to move the car he was like Usain Bolt out of the traps fetching more stuff. When I had moved the car to the side of the van I went inside for a well earned brew, we then went out for several hours and he was still there and at 9.30 he managed to speak, you said you were going to which I replied yes but you didn't ask when we're leaving in the morning and he went back to his own pitch muttering. The following morning we felt as though we were being harrassed for our pitch as he piled chairs, pushbike and BBQ at the back of the pitch. One other thing which peed me off is I timed my arrival for 12.00, most mornings I took our dogs for a walk at 8.30 to be met with careavans parked up waiting for the office to open and these were not late arrivals, so is it no arrivals before 12.00 or will anytime do?
