Caravanning after heart surgery
I have just passed retirement age a couple of months back, and so, so looking forward to the additional relaxing and retirement time available to continue my wife and I 26 years caravanning. Recent dizziness and faint feeling has lead to hospital tests,
and the be all and end all is they have found I have couple of severely blocked arteries that will require by-pass surgery. Apart from the obvious anxious waiting for an op, and temporarily advice of not to drive, there MUST be other club members out there
who have had similar situations. As and when the surgery has been undertaken, -they can do great things nowadays- I am trying to find other 'vanners who have gone through similar experience, when you then got back to good health again, how did you get on when
you were able to hopefully return to touring, how did it affect, or restrict you, or does it mean having to give up caravanning, I sincerely hope not. Any advice as to what I can hopefully look forward to after surgery would be most garteful, thank you in
advance of any reply postings. At present I am in anxious mode wondering what the future may bring.
