Master switch on Bailey 2007

Hi everyone another couple of questions-

1. when my caravan is at home and plugged into the mains, do i need the master switch on to power the fridge  (the fridge is switched to mains on the front panel)
 
2. when on site and I go out and leave the van should i leave the master switch on?
