First trip questions

Hi I am about to embark on my first ever caravan holiday and have a few questions. If their is any differamce van to van i have a bailey pageant.

1. Do i drain the water system every trip or just at the end of season? I have flushed it through with milton and emptied it.

2. I understand when plugging in to the sites power I should first frip the van electrics out, I'm guessing I can't do this before leaving home or I'll lose all the light etc from the car hook up.

3. How do I know when the flush water is running low on the thetford toilet? Is it ok to fill it up before leaving home?

I think thats all at the moment, I have done plenty of research bur can't seem to find the answers to the above questions,
