Insignia Porch Awning Assembly

I have just bought a Towsure Insignia Porch Awning and the assembly instructions are minimal and not very helpful.  I have worked out most of it but there is nothing to say how to fit the clamp which fits the roof bar to the awning and van.  Can anyone advise
me on how to fit the clamp to the awning or where I can get better instructions.  I have found an assembly video for a Pyramid full awning which I understand is the same as Insignia but the clamp is different.
