Sterilising Aquarolls

Hi, I am a newbie, just beginning to get kit together ready for delivery of my van next month. I have bought a good condition second hand Aquaroll and wondered what anyone would suggest to sterilise it inside. Obviously I don't know when it was last used
and don't want to take any chances with a fresh water container. Any advice would be appreciated.
