Quelle catastrophe
I've wanted a caravan for about 20 years , finally got one in May this year and had 2 little adventures in it preparing for our grand European tour in 12 days . I've been on these discussion pages getting prepared , got lists coming out my ears and scrimped
and saved the last few months to afford the holiday . Problem is the car has been a bit dodgy so had a full service and 4 new tyres , still sounded weird so had the MOT and asked them to check all was ok - no problems found . On our last adventure the engine
warning light came on while towing uphill so into the garage it's gone 
Result is 2 cylinders aren't working and possibly other stuff so they need to keep it for a few days . The likelihood is whatever it is will be more than we can afford and more than the car is worth . So it may well be the holiday is off . Gutted !!
