What a "plonker"

Recently stayed for a week on a beautiful CL  The site is large and you can park where you like enabling outfits to spread out.  We got all set up in a great spot with views of the river.  The fifth caravan arrived about an hour later and after the owner
walked with his compass around the area we had pitched he plonked himself right in front of us. "Wife wants the awning in full sun all day" was his reply when asked if that was where he was pitching.  So long as he was happy who cares and oh dear it did rain
most of the week.  We had a lovely time but now prefer CLs with allocated pitches.
