Caravan dealers responsibilities

We purchased our first caravan August 1st 2012 and knew nothing about caravans or caravanning, since them wow it has been a massive learning curve and still finding out all sorts of information.

The last lesson was tyres, it is recommended that tyres are changed every 5 years but some web sites say between 5-7. As I say we have not had the caravan a year yet but have found out that our tyres are over 7 years old.

My question is, should the dealer have changed these prior to selling the caravan or am I living in cloud cuckoo land
