Autotrail warranty at dealers discretion

Had a problem wit Fridge on a brand new Tracker,, called local dealer in York hwo asked If I bought it there,, I said no so was told they only do warranty work on vehicles purchased from them.. phoned Autotrail and was told by head of customer service that
all warranty work is at the dealers discretion..
