In November 2012 we had a few days booked at Rowntree which were abandoned due to the flooding of the site.  We rebooked for a few days in December.  It was no surprise to us that these also had to be abandoned due to flooding.  At the time no one contacted
us to advise of the closure  There was nothing on the web site to indicate closure.  Booking diary etc. was still operational with no warning of potential closure etc  We telephoned the site for information.  I wonder how many turned up expecting to have access. 
There does not seem to have been any informtion about the floods, its effects and the current state of the site.  Is it open yet?  Can't we have a section on the club web site under news for this sort of thing?
