Draining cab battery

Hi there

i have a American rv with apparently an all singing all dancing alarm system - we had not used it for three weeks and when I went to start the battery was almost flat ad we only went up the road to test the van out when we went to leave three days later
it was totally dead and I needed a jump start 

any suggestions

    Solar panel and battery master to keep both habitation and cab batteries charged....

    Have bought a charger and going to trickle charge battery.

    do the battery master have to be professionally fitted to be on safe side as electronics are not my strong point

    According to Eddie Vanbitz they can be fitted by someone with basic 12v knowledge.  We hade one fitted by Eddie when he fitted our solar panel fittd free.
