AWD cars - tyre wear.

Just wondered how members have found tyre wear with AWD cars, with my previous FWD cars I have always found that the front tyres always seem to wear down quicker than the rear with steering, traction. Just had the Octavia 4x4
in for its first 2 year 20,000 mile service and all 4 tyres are wearing down nice and even at the same rate, all now have 4mm of tread left. The Haldex system does put 90% power to the front and 10% to the rear with up to 100% if needed. Do not like to get
down to the legal minimum, so will be changing them in a few months’ time and are considering getting Vredestein Quatrac 3, all season tyres. They have the M/S, snowflake symbols and are classed as winter tyres for those EU countries that require them by
law in the winter months.
