Kia Sorento as new tow car

We are thinking of changing our tow car to a Kia Sorento KX2 12 plate.

We would appreciate any advice. If the car doesn't have SLS is it a no no and would it be better to buy a KX3 which has it as standard.

Our caravan is a twin axle Bailey Unicorn.
