Has the CC become more relaxed?
We were members of the CC some 4 or 5 years ago, we decided to site our caravan at a non CC site so we gave up the membership for a few years, however recently we purchased a motorhome so decided to re join, we have now spent time at 2 CC sites and I can't
believe how relaxed they have become, I've seen cars driving around the site at well over the 5mph speed limit, I've seen outfits not pitched correctly with the car parked on the grass next to the hard standing, currently we're on a site where the main road
on the site is on an incline and all afternoon we've had kids going down the hill on scooters at a ridiculous speed, I'm guessing somewhere around 15mph, I feel really sorry for the poor driver that pulls off from his pitch at the wrong time, of course some
things never change, you still get the inconsiderate lot that wander across your pitch but I always remember the CC being a stickler for rules and regs so I'm a little surprised to say the least. As a sidenote you still can't beat the cleanliness drom the
CC sites, that's one thing that hasn't changed
