Staying with the Caravan Club
We were out on The Cleveland Way walking near Whitby and came across a Touring Site. It was a private concern but had all the facilities of most Caravan Club sites so we made enquiries . For starters they do not accept outfits over 15 years old. The fees
were astronomical compared to The Caravan Club. You had to book for a whole season for a pitch. So moral is Thanks but no thanks.We love our 15 year old Avondale.Its warm and smart still and no leaks and just what we want. We think the fees at The Caravan
Club are very reasonable and who wants to stay on one site all season? The clue I would have thought is in the wording " Touring Caravan".So we shall stay as happy Club members and no deviating off to private sites such as the one I described.Graham and Margaret
