Mitsibushi Outlander Witter Detachable towbar

Hi All

Just had a witter detachable towbar fitted professionally I might add to my newly acquired 2010 Mitsi Outlander. I've only just fitted the detachable section and whilst the ball is spot in the centre of the car the remainder when looked at from behind looks
slightly at an angle. Is anyone aware its just that I've had numerous towcars with Witter Detachable bars and never seem this before. I've taken a look underneath and realise the spare wheel is the problem although the bar seems to be shaped and fitted correctly.
