Problem Hitching up 4x4

Can anyone help.

We have a 2015 Lunar Quasar 462, with the latest spec Alko hitch.

Has anyone seen one of the shorter/removable handles you can get for them as we are having huge problems hitching up on our Defender because of the rear spare wheel.  We can hitch up with the door open, but then can't close the door because of the height
of the jockey wheel handle.
