Towing Cover for caravan front

I am considering buying a towing cover for the front of my Swift Challenger 480 to keep the front clean and chip free on the move. However, the two main brands seem to A) cover the ATC light, & B) have stick on LED sidelights.

In respect of the stick on lights, surely all the trailer lights must be operated by the towing vehicle? Only Top Gear can drive with torches taped to their vehicles! The other DIY option of cutting a couple of holes in my new cover doesn't appeal very much.

Anyone had any dealings with these?

Please don't say, 'don't worry about the legallities....'
