European Breakdown Cover

We are taking our motorhome to France, our first trip abroad, and have been looking at European breakdown cover. The Red pennant offer seems extremely expensive, a quote of £163 for 15 days. 

I've been looking at Driver Guardian who are quoting £79 for a years full UK and European breakdown cover terms and conditions identical to Red Pennant. That's only £11 more for Europe and UK than we are current paying for UK only on Mayday.

The reviews for Driver Guardian seem to rate them very highly. Has anyone used them and, more importantly, have to call on them with a problem?
