    Hi all, we have been using a 'power bank' usb battery. You charge it up via a USB supply when convienent and it will then charge a phone or tablet several times depending on it's capacity. A 10,000mah version lasts a long time, plus it has a built in torch
    and a display with the % left in it's battery. It has 2amp and 1amp outputs and both can be used together. I changed from 10watt halogen bulbs to 1.5 watt LED bulbs which are about the same brightness to give you an idea. Warm white we find more pleasing.

    Thanks again i shall go to storage on tuesday and see if avtex 12v plug fits in the hole under tv stand , and if reading light work,yahoo i cant wait to get away :)(only 4days but heyho)
