    Here's a link https://www.leisureshopdirect.com/caravan-accessories/rubber-and-plastic-parts/rubber-and-plastic-trim

Immerse the trim in a bowl of hot water to make it pliable before and during fitting. On completion leave a considerable surplus at either end because it will stretch during fitting then shrink back. Leave the surplus for as many days as you can before finally
cutting it. I hope that Leisureshop have what you need. If not just Google again.

Yep, just do as JC describes, warming it makes it easier. A task for us later in year, doing up our old van!

Even easier if you use warm soapy water helps it slide in easier plus i always used to use a windscreen trim fittin toolsee here:-

One of the old-fashioned table knives with an ivory handle makes a great tool for this job - and many others as well.

Personally I would leave a few inches of excess at either end for a 'very' long time, as it will continue to shrink for several years.

Yes navigateur i have an old fashioned "butter " knife which i think would do the trick: forgive me for asking but does anyone know of a knack to getting the old stuff out ,because some is falling out and the rest is extremely hard and stuck in cheers ,
ooh the decisions i dont know whether to go with grey, silver or navy blue , i think it might make the old bus look pretty smart lol ://

Would a knife with a plastic handle work as well? Ivory is so hard to get these days.

There used to be a metal cover/clip on an old 'van of mine that covered the joint to allow for a little bit of shrinkage
