Of course you can it's just clean water. I always just empty my aquaroll where it stands when packing up.

Hello Black Caviar.
Differing views already.
You don't say whether you were on a CC site or not or on hardstanding or grass but I personally would say please don't empty your water onto your pitch. I wouldn't want to be the next person who then has a wet soggy pitch and, generally speaking, I think it would definitely be frowned upon in the UK. Emptying clean water into a ditch or hedge is a different matter and probably acceptable in most places.
With weather like ours, the pitches probably get enough water which has to drain away and pitches do sometimes have to be conned off because they're waterlogged after heavy rain.

I always drain everything before moving (some people don't) and I don't see any harm in draining the clean water tank on the pitch. Waste always goes to the disposal point but, prior to moving off, I always open the tank valve and let it drain away. At
the Club site where we were over Easter I saw a number of people doing it0 -
Common sense should be applied. In principle there is no problem with emptying water on the pitch but if you are dumping it in one place where it won't drain and it creates a boggy area where somebody is going to place an awning etc. then that would be anti

I empty waste and and left over fresh water down the drains, but if there is somewhere to stop by the gate I nip in and open the value so it drains on the road as we are going along. I do this as the water heater has had time to cool down before I empty
the system as don't like the idea of it still being warm while there is no water in there... No idea if it would cause a problem or not, just my preference0 -
I don't have a tank apart from the ultrastore. As this is warm/hot I let this drain on the site road after I've hooked up and drive off. Any residual from the aquaroll, I spread around to prevent creating a soggy patch. Emptying an almost full one into one
spot on a grass pitch is irresponsible.0 -
We always check our nose weight before hitching up so we have to open our valve to empty the tank first. The tank is on the offside of the caravan, and it's never a full tank anyway, so it wouldn't make a wet patch anywhere near the next visitor's awning.
We always use hard standing pitches wherever possible (OH really dislikes grass pitches!) so usually drains away to just a darker area on the stone by the time we leave, certainly not a soggy patch.0 -
I always run the last tankful of hot water through the pipes and into the Wastemaster to give them a good clean out and then continue until the cold runs out. Wastemaster goes to the drainage point and last few drops in Aquaroll spread about. We empty the
water tank on the pitch, it is only 8 litres and given we normally stop a week the ground is fairly dry underneath anyway. Normally we opt for hardstanding but if on grass there is no damage, as the hot has previously been run off.0 -
Clean water under a hedge, round a flower bed or at the base of a tree, but not on the pitch. I don't want to arrive and find my grass pitch is boggy.
Let us hope it never rains then. Give me strength!

Of course you can it's just clean water. I always just empty my aquaroll where it stands when packing up.
If I was staying just one night and followed that advice I could be dumping about 140ltrs of water. Would that be okay?
...Why would you be that silly

That's a big aquaroll. I'd like to see you pulling that.

Na! that's a MH draining off the waste tank. Last time I moved away from a pitch I had about 140 ltrs of fresh remaining and about 90ltrs of grey. Could have left a streak for many miles .
... but I didn't .
...I did say trails

Or put another way! Would you be happy to pitch up especially on grass when the last person has kindley emptied their water tank before leaving & making it nice & boggy for you ? Empting the hot water on grass burns it turns it brown & killls it.

Waste water and any clean left in aquaroll, down drain, or if CL owner permits into a hedge or, during the summer round his trees. Then drain off hot water into waste container, which helps to clean it out, and then as above. Never let hot water drain onto
a grass pitch.0 -
Cheers many different views i was on a hardstanding pitch and the water was cold as the boiler was switched off night before i used it to rinse out the wastehog , but didnt know whether it was allowed to let cold fresh water out onto pitch i should imagine
there would be twenty litres , so swilled the wastehog , it does seem rather a shame to waste water tho cheers mrs bc , i think next time ill chuck it in bushes0 -

Yes
I hardly think that 8 litres deposited under the van is going to be a major problem. As you have to pitch to the peg, it will be under the next van. A moderate rainstorm will deposit more water.

You would have to be paranoid about weight to drain the boiler down every time - unless it is the final night before storage. If you do that then next time it is an extra 8 litres to carry from the tap and you have to put up with all the coughing and spluttering
to prime the system.0 -
At the risk of attracting the wrath of a mod or more for stating the obvious and truth; so far it seems to be all caravanners that are willing to dump on or around their pitches. Shocking.
whats with the fresh water dumping problem to put it round the pitch ,its better than putting good water down a drain
