Rattling AL-KO tow hitch

One of our friends arrived here at La Tournerie yesterday, towing his immaculate 2008 Bailey twin axle behind his even more immaculate new Merc 'E' class estate.

He has a problem however with his just recently serviced Bailey, namely the AL-KO tow hitch or rather the shaft thereof is rattling very badly in it's housing, or to be more exact where it passes into the 'A' frame.

On closer inspection (in the rain), the shaft appears to be very dry and slightly rusty and it most definitely has quite a bit of loose play to it when waggled!

I immediately thought that the plunger need re-packing with grease but for the life of me on initial inspection I can't seem to find any grease nipples, are there any ?

He will be here on site for 6 nights and I would like to try and sort out his problem before he continues with his holiday.

Any thoughts and comments will be gratefully received.

Many thanks
