re putting up a porch awning on a concrete base.

thanks first of all to the many mostly actually helpful and constructive suggestions.... but one that i have not heard mentioned is the use of two pieces of thin wood something of the type used on wooden decking running at 90 degrees to the caravan and at
the  bottom parallel with the side doors and sitting on the concrete base.. the finer details regarding the attachment of the pegs i dont understand... so if anyone has come across this i would be interested in the finer points... kind regards...
