Bailey Pegasus Gt65 doors.

I have looked at several Pegasus GT65 caravans recently , and I not that they all are fitted with doors of a different shade than the main body. Although the main side pannels are coated with fibreglass I also note thet the door is aluminium.

    Maybe its a visual aid to find door,  Winkas on trains

    The doors are bought in but should match.

    I have also noticed this and think it may be due to the different material of the door, even though the paint is the same colour.  It will reflect the light differently than the body.

    This was putting me off when I was looking to buy one. So when I bought mine I was well pleased that my door is same colour as the body.

    Could it be they match at first but with age the use of different materials causes them to fade at different rates?
