wobblin round marathons & dog friendly london
oh hi - new here- massive apologies if i have posted this question in the wrong area.....which knowing me i probably have

we just joined the caravan club and wondered if anyone could help . in april i will be wobbling round the london marathon . i know that the abbey wood site is just 6 miles from the start- so we're looking to stay there hopefully. the only thing is we have
2 dogs and having read feedback on the site it doesnt seem that great for dogs ? our biggest problem is that we have a really old dog (almost 16) , has anyone actually stayed on abbey wood with dogs who can advise us how far the dog walk is off the site ?
is it like a mile or 2 or less? or is it like 100 meters?
apparently someone staying on the site before with dogs was told off for their dog going to the loo on site - and our dog really cant walk all that far. is abbey wood really that dog unfriendly?
just wondering if some of the other london sites are better for dogs - with dog walks real close- although they may be harder to travel to for the start of the marathon.
so i guess my question is peoples opinions on abbey wood for dog owners ?
