No ordinary cough

for those who saw me over Christmas and New Year, I am finally making headway in getting better.

 

after tests at the hospital on my return home, I was found to have a rare South American bacterial chest infection, which antibiotics were given. The cough hot considerably worse and I was sent for X-rays and both normal blood tests as well as pathological
ones.  The results back in have shown that the cough and chest infection has turned to pneumonia.  I am now on my third course of antibiotics and am gradually recovering. I have further X-rays in two weeks time to see whether the infection etc has cleared.

good news is of course, my cough is not catching, so people around me could not catch pneumonia from me!
