Early Arrivals
I know this topic has arisen many times before but here goes! Arrival at site with restricted access before 12.00 noon. Yesterday at 11.30am we were just through
the gate at Godrevy when another car and caravan started pulling off the narrow lane onto the access drive. It was impossible for him to reverse so I had to reverse back up the incline and over a speed bump. Unfortunately before I did so I tapped my watch!
As the other car pulled up both man and wife got out of their car and, in no uncertain terms, had a go for having the temerity to tap my watch at them. I shouldn’t have done it I know but!
I hadn’t realised that by this time a second couple were pulling on. As they passed they wound their window down both smiled and apologised for miss-timing their
arrival. Thank you. My faith in fellow Club members was restored.
