LPG hose

Whilst away last week, a fellow club member informed me that there is a new regulation specifying that the rubber hose connecting gas bottles to regulators, bbq's etc has to be changed every 4 years. Mine is date stamped 2008 (year of caravan manufacture)
and seems sound externally. Has anybody come across this reg?
