Just read this in the July mag p30, report of council meeting 11th May:

"In accordance with Club Bye-Law 4b(9)a, the meeting then discussed the 2014 membership subscription fee. Mr Hall observed that a recent survey of 5,000 members on the value for money offered by The Club had revealed that, on a scale of 1-10, 75% had rated
sites and 83% had rated membership as being in the 7-10 bracket. He saw this as supporting a continuance of the "little and often" policy approach, but the figure would be finalised as part of hte budget process later in the year."

Do members realise that indicating satisfaction in surveys is taken as an endorsment for increased membership fees. Also it appears that the policy is to increase fees every year until members say thay are no longer satisfied, nothing to do with what is
needed. What do you think?
