Alko 100kg max hitch weight

Hi all,

My Caravan has an unladed weight of 1800 kg and MTPLM of 2000 kg, so applying the 7% guide to the noseweight would give up to 140kg.

This is ok for the towcar max hitch wight and the tow ball but I understand the Al-ko hitch is rated at a maximun of 100kg.

I have asked both Al-ko and club technical help if it is possible to get a higher rating for the hitch but neither have replied. Has anyone else come across this. I know you don't have to get to 7% but I would like to get higher if possible to help with
stability.
