Help with parking motorhome

Hope someone can help us find decent visitor parking in both Shrewsbury and Ludlow for our small Motorhome. It is 5.5 m long and 2.6 m high. Any help would be very useful. We intend staying around 4 hours in both places.

we know the car park near Shrewsbury Abbey, but not sure if it has height barrier or small bays?

Shropshire County Council guide to parking site is not the easiest to use, but we have requested guidance from them too. Local knowledge would be better though. Thank you
