Air awning - would I buy another one!
12 months down the line of having used an air awning (Kampa 260) I have decided all in all, no I wouldn't. Yes to put up and erect. It is quick and easy. But the down side is that there is an enormous amount of fabric to dry out if you have to take down
the awning wet. Moving the awning at home to turn it over so as to dry it properly needs a great effort. In use I would say when it gets really windy. I still have to take the awning down because like a trad awning. The wind blows out the bottom pulling out
the tent pegs. For me the ideal is now a modest size traditional porch awning with removable panels over a frame....you know, sometimes when someone offers you something too good to be true, it is. And don't forget weight...my kampa weighs the same as my
old one but I don't have the option of carrying it bit by bit.... so it's one heavy straight lift for one person or two others for the larger 390....
