2009 kia sportage as towcar

im thinking of swapping my 2010 ford mondeo hatch to a 2009 KIA sportage 2.0CRDi XS 2WD
due to my mondeo being too twitchy with my new van mtplm 1460kg looking at the match up the kia is a better match apart from the nosewight limit which is 5kg lighter than the mondeo does anyone tow
with the kia 2wd and how do you find it
