We have an Olympus 464 with a fixed bed, the mtplm is 1320 .

Might be worth a look, you may find one in your price range.

Only that I can't get away in it enough. Seriously though, it's nine years old now and there are minor niggles like a bit of corrosion on light bulb contacts but nothing of consequence.

I would look at Lunar as they are generally the lightest for any given layout.

Our previous 2006 Sprite Alpine 4 (fixed bed) had a mtplm of 1,230kg, newer ones are about the same. We had it for 9.5 years with no problems at all and got a good PX price for our present new 2 berth van.

Bailey Pageant Series 6 Bordeaux.  We have one of the last ones made, May 2008.  It is a superb fixed bed layout and yet it is less than 1200 unladen and under 6.5m total length.  Can seat six for a meal if necessary and shower is great with a screen.  Bed
really comfy, and storage is excellent.

    Good luck

Ours! Well nearly - MTPLM comes in at just a little over 1300. It's a Swift Speedbird 490 - year 2000, with the door on the wrong side (ie on the left as you look at the front of the van), and the bed is on the right. It's based on the Swift Toscane
which was made for the Dutch market.  It’s wider than the typical van of the time, at 2.3 metres.

Although it's an older van, it's still completely dry (serviced just last year), has all the original fixtures and fittings, (except we fitted a replacement mini-Heki instead of the opaque rooflight)  and everything still works.  It’s not for sale
(though perhaps we could be persuaded) but if it were it would be well under your budget!  We didn’t pay much more for it sixteen years ago when we bought it!

The reason we’ve kept it so long is that we love it still – it’s spacious, light, has room for everything we need, and is an easy tow.
