does anyone know the name of the cl that is close to the clubs site. You turn left out of site gate left at junction and its two miles ish on the left with panoramic view over the sea. Also does anyone know if there are off lead dog walks on or from this

    Going off your directions the CLs on the search map are Abbey View, Toft House Farm and Deneside  Field. Any of those ring a bell?

    Have you tried using the search facility on the clubsite ? If you search by map & tick the box to show CL's you should quickly find what you are looking for.

    Not sure if it's the one you are after but we looked at a site called Lound House Farm, Littlebeck Lane, Sneaton some years ago. Looked very nice.

    its difficult using the map or search on the phone and I only have broadband in the office. Will Googlethe suggestions see if I can work out which it was.

    Fairly sure as Arthur and Jean said you are thinking of Lound House Farm which has a CL plate on the gate but is no longer a CL. It takes 25 vans and has wonderful views over to Whitby. We stayed there a couple of years ago.

    Look at each of them in turn on Google Earth. That should jog your memory.
