Having bought a new Tiguan Match 2.0 TDI BMT 177 PS 4 MOTION 7-speed DGS, I find the constant suspension bumping difficult to get used to or accept.  I did upgrade to 18" wheels because I liked the look of them.  I would point out that I hav driven Tiguans
with both 17" and 18" wheels since and found no difference.  I wa\s aware before purchase that I could have had VW's Dynamic Chassis Control, however, this was not fitted to the vehicles I road tested before placing the order and at the time was not disappointed
with the ride.  One article I read about D.C.C. said comfort mode was very good for long runs on rough roads.  250 miles on the M25 and M1 might be a long run but it is not a rough road.  I found this run very uncomfortable.  Everything about this vehicle
is superb except the ride.  I have accepted the opportunity to road test a Tiguan with D.C.C. in the next few days, however, it does not have a tow bar.  I am presuming that in comfort mode I will probably like it when driving solo and if I had specified it
with this new vehicle it begs the question what would it be like in comfort mode when towing?  I now know that all the large VW's have D.C.C. as an option.  Are they all a bumpy ride?
