Dpf on a Hyundai Santa fe

i currebtly drive a Vauxhall antara whichhas a regeneration dpf program.

Ond of the possible replacements I am looking at it is a Hyundai Santa fe, but I have been told that this also has a regeneration dpf program.

can anyone who owns a Santa Fe comment on any loss of performance or fuel economy during the regeneration cycle?
