Changing to red gas
Hi
I have a luner quaser 524 2008
I am on blue gas at moment and want to change to red
Will I have to change gas coupling in pipework

And wich would you recommend also is it true that red gas burns hotter than blue

The difference is only marginal between red and blue - I don't think I know anyone who keeps blue for summertime use. I found out the hard way that Butane doesn't like the cold and I wouldn't fafff with it again. The pigtail pictured by Dave is really
convenient - no spanners. There is also a thread on Refillable cylinders which you might be interested in if you have a high use of gas - i.e. off grid - you name suggests you may be on the road a lot of the time.0 -

I am just using the last of my gas then change over to the red bottle
I don't show jumping anymore both me and my horses are retired now out in the field iemail not me lol
I just bought the quaser in August my old van was a a by smoerset and traded it in for quaser
Just had one trip so far a week in Garlieston a very nice site
We are off for a few days a week on Sunday to kendal site which used to be called low park wood

Before you buy a new pigtail, just check that your current connection isn't a propane (red bottle) connector, as pictured above, screwed into an adaptor for the Butane (blue) bottle - these look like a big elongated nut usually with the clip on connector to the bottle on one end. If it is, then you can unscrew the adaptor and connect direct to the red bottle. [In case you don't know, the thread on the gas connectors are all left hand thread, so you need to turn them clockwise to undo them]
