Hi

Has anyone encountered problems with ticks getting onto dogs on kendal site

Read in some reviews there can be

    Stayed there recently, there might be ticks in a lot of UK places but if the dogs are treated beforehand and checked over frequently it shouldn't be a problem. Our two didn't get any.

    Ticks are areal problem now. Very dangerous to humans too.Cant understand people walking in shorts through braken etc.Just asking for trouble

    Our dog has had 2 ticks in the last 2 weeks in Wiltshire...one on his cheek and one above his eye. As he's regularly Frontlined, the tick had died and we managed to remove it successfully with special 'tick tweezers.' Luckily we didn't even get bitten by
    him in the process, but it must've been very uncomfortable for him in the locations where they were!

    Ticks are endemic in almost areas of the UK. Frontline or similar is a wise precaution and you should also take precautions when walking in the countyryside.
