Day visitors
There have been more than a few posts about the increase in site fees and membership subscription. I am sitting on a very busy site that appears to have a large number of day visitors. The visitors car park has 18 cars in it at the moment and cars have been coming and going all day long. If we assume an average of 2 people per car, at the moment there are 36 people on site additional to those paying to stay. These visitors can come and stay on site all day and use the facilities, as they are welcome to, but pay nothing towards this. Is the club missing a trick here? Many commercial sites charge for day visitors. If the club did the same maybe the increase in revenue could hold down the fees for the members or be invested into the network.
I would be interested in what other members think of this?

I think visitors should be OK and free of charge during the day. Lots of people go away to meet up with friends and family. Club sites are expensive enough as it is without lots of extra charges.
It's time the club looked at how it could keep it's charges down never mind increasing them.

Not sure why this thread has been revived as it's 7 years old with no other comments after the OP but, to answer your question, day visitors to club sites are not charged but are asked to leave cars in the site car park.
However, day visitors are not currently permitted on site due to the COVID19 situation.
